Our Journey

Undocumented History's story started with a young girl who wanted to shine light on parts of Asian history and culture that schools and media don't.

Thus, the Undocumented History podcast interviewing trailblazers and experts in untold Asian American stories was born.

In July of 2023, Undocumented History was selected to attend the inaugural Youth Mean Business program by the CEOs of Beautiful Curly Me (pictured to the right), in where we got the opportunity to speak on Smooth Jazz Radio 101.1

At the end of the program, Undocumented History was awarded with a $2,500 seed grant after a pitch. This event was aired on Atlanta News First.

After the Youth Mean Business Program, we felt inspired to do more. How could we do more for the Asian American community? The idea of creating Asian American dolls that represent historical Asian American figures was born.

Undocumented History's doll project has taken over a year to complete and is still in the process. Currently, we are still working with designers and manufacturers to create a doll that will help the Asian American community become more seen.

We hope you will love and support our dolls, Abigail, Adam, and Caitlyn!
